- Reference Solar Cell and MeterReads calibrated sun irradiance and temperatureEasily integrated with I-V Test StationThe Reference Cell, which is an integral part of solar simulatorcalibration and solar cell I-V characterization, consists of areadout device and a 2 x 2 cm calibrated solar cell made ofmonocrystaline silicon. The cell is also equipped with athermocouple assembled in accordance with IEC 60904-2. TheReference Cell comes with calibration data taken by NREL, on anaccompanying certificate. It reads solar simulator irradiance in"sun" units; one sun is equal to 1000 W/m2 at 25 °C and Airmass1.5 Global Reference. This tool's primary use is the testing ofphotovoltaic cells under standard conditions. The Readout Meterincludes two BNC connectors for analog outputs for the sunirradiance and the temperature.Specifications
