Join Food Export as we survey the best practices on how to obtain the best export price quotation.

Topics to be covered include:

  • Product Specifics & HS/Schedule B Coding
  • Method of Transport – Origin and Destination
  • International Terms of Sale & Payment
  • Marine Cargo Insurance
  • Pieces Weights & Measures: Density & Dimensional-zation
  • Compliance Issues
  • A Real Example
  • Summary & Q & A

The demand for U.S. products has never been stronger, and barbeque products in particular, are becoming a global phenomenon. In response to the demand for U.S. exports, the United States has established Free Trade Agreements with many of the highest-potential markets for these products, making exporting even more streamlined.

With all that in mind, this webinar will dive into the top international markets for BBQ products, including sauces, rubs, and fuels. It will also feature an introduction into what international buyers of BBQ products expect from U.S. suppliers – including:

  • Understanding the Harmonized System (HS),
  • Where to find market research,
  • International freight forwarders and wholesale food consolidators, and much more!

Join us as Export counselor Dennis Lynch presents on these topics, while also explaining why exporting doesn’t have to be as daunting as it may seem. A Q&A session will be included at the end of the webinar. This event is co-hosted by Food Export Association of the Midwest USA, who will give an overview of the programs and services they provide to help you enter international markets.
